The Decisive Battle of Nashville by Stanley F Horn, University of Tennessee Press 1984 Fifth printing reprint edition of 1957, Hardback with Dust Jacket. This is an account of the battle of Nashville. Horn devotes much attention to a detailed summary of the two-day struggle, revealing the points of view of both Union and Confederate commanders as well as of the soldiers who took part in the fighting. The battle was so conclusive that none of importance was fought afterwards. Horn points out this was a turning point and that the fate of the Confederacy was sealed at this battle. Sold 2/21/2023
