There is also an original 3rd page of a hand written letter inside the book and it is stamped on back side of the page ” Received Jan 24, 1941 Colt’s Pat. Fire Arms Co.” the page talks about Emmitt Dalton (last of the Dalton Gang) surviving 20 bullet wounds in the famous Coffeyville Kansas gun fight in 1892 and proving by his conduct that it is never too late for the most desperate of criminals to reform. This widely regarded classic represents a volume of biographies of numerous master gunfighters, including such notables as John Wesley Hardin, Billy the Kid, Dallas Stoudenmire, Sam Bass, Wild Bill Hickok, Butch Cassidy, and Tom Horn.
